After I work for homestay and volunteer program around 2 years almost 3 years I learn a lot thing from all situation. I feel like I can fly when I saw the smile of visitors, I so pound and so happy when local people earn some money from their natural and skill.
Local people have the performance to take care visitor even they can't speak English. I feel grateful when I leave hand from them but they can alive. Without my hand, they work with the agency and earn income to support their family.
My tear falling down, I feel proud and I feel so great ! I give a chance for my community. I don't do anything much to support them. I only give perfect chance for them. And they accept and show performance and skill for our visitors. And some visitors want to visit us again if they have the chance. I already add the value of my life back to my community.
When I saw a group of students "Lotus Gang" (students who study in village school 10 - 13 years old, the poor family never learn English with the native speaker) They can walk to school with our visitor, show visitor around a village without me. " Suck great thing for me" If people said, rural people are stupid low education, I don't believe in that. They have own skill but lake off chance to show.
A student who live with volunteer 1 month. She is a one student who never care English class. After volunteer stay with her, she changes herself. "a teacher tells me that she change after volunteer visited us. She is a good student in English class and cares the English language.
A student who live in our village, She is a student of KhonKean University who study agricultural science. After she met our volunteer, she can speak English very well. Seem she study English major.
I want to be a big tree in 10 years from now on. Now I 'm a small seed that waiting for the water and fertilizer. I would like you all to be my water and fertilizer. IF I CAN BE A BIG TREE. I CAN BE SOUCE OF FOOD PEOPLE NEARBY ME.
Only a chance in their life can be change all life of a people.
